This is Part II of the series. You can find the first post here: 40 Talented Flickr Photographers To Follow
Flickr (pronounced “flicker”) is an image hosting and video hosting website, and web services suite that was created by Ludicorp in 2004 and acquired by Yahoo in 2005. Apart from being a popular website, for users to share and embed personal photographs, and effectively an online community, the service is widely used by photo researchers and by bloggers as a means to host images that they embed in blogs and social media.
Flickr has been around for ages as far as I can remember. So many users, and it makes sense to dig around and show you some talented Flickr photographers to follow. It was established in 2004, and continues to this very day. While Flickr lost a bit of quality content in the past, I have seen a lot of it return due to the demise of deviantART and the rise of other websites such as 500px, 1X and instagram.
I have been a member of Flickr for quite some time, and I know majority of people are members of Flickr as well. So, if you are a photographer or just a hobbyist who is looking for good photographers to follow who might inspire you, or just make your time fly faster by giving you something to avidly browse, then check out these brilliant and talented Flickr photographers to Follow.
The Flickr photographers to Follow list includes the following categories:
- Portrait photographers
- Conceptual photographers
- Landscape Photographer
If there is any other category you might be interested in, send us a tweet, or an email, or message on Facebook and let us know which “Flickr Photographers To Follow” would add. We’ll be sure to include them in the next list!
It’s amazing how a lot of these talented people have already been featured on CrispMe before. I’ve attached a link to their respective CrispMe article if you wish to read up on it.
