Alex Gabbott is a young film maker and illustrator of 23 from Australia, with fingers in the metaphorical pies of art, radio, theatre, and interpretive robo-fusion jazz-funk. He is into pop culture cross-sections illustration, and this is his third time doing so, following Bob’s Burger Cross Section and Portal Turret Cross Section. This time, with one of the best films ever made by Pixar – UP. It put a lot of extra pressure on him to make it as accurate as possible as he loves the film very much. 100 hours later, he succeeded with Carl’s Flying House from the movie.
Alex is also selling some of the merchandises for his work on Society6. Check out the timelapse of his Carl’s House cross-section illustration below and don’t forget to follow him @ his website: alexgabbott.com
