Tyler Olson is a lifestyle stock photographer who focuses on creating candid images of real people in real situations.  His direct stock sales site RealStockPhotos is packed full of people images and are available for royalty free licensing at affordable microstock prices.

Image themes vary from outdoor and adventure to health and medical with a large variety of true to life dentistry images.  As the site is a direct sales site and the photographer is keeping 100% of the sales price you can sleep well at night knowing you are support the artists and not a large corporation.  The site offers discounts in the form of large credit and subscription packages with discounts up to 90% on large subscriptions.

This is by far one of the most interesting digital art project I have seen in a while. The very first reason is the fact that it has one of favorite movie saga characters in it – from Star Wars.

The author has replaced many traditional and historical images with characters from Star Wars, notably the “Storm Troopers” and “Darth Vader”.  Seeing Darth Vader as Martin Luther King is quite hilarious. Please do not be offended by any of the images as they are mainly done for fun and for a good laugh.

Aroha Silhouettes started out as a moonlighting endeavor to escape the everyday routine of working a 9-5 job in a laboratory for New Zealand born designer, Tania Hennessy

Heavily influenced by her career in science, Hennessy lets the elements of a clean sterile laboratory show through in her jewellery designs and combines them with geometrical shapes and a dark alternative edge.

By using contrasting silhouettes and utilizing white space, her style emerges as a hybrid of concept, imagination and innovation. Her distinctive designs play with bold lines that reflect on the properties of the material the piece was created from.

For the inauguration of the Tokyo Hotaru festival, last weekend, 100,000 LED lights floated down the Sumida River.

The LEDs were provided by Panasonic, designed to light up upon contact with water and powered by solar energy. Look at the images below and just see how beautiful they look floating atop the water. After illuminating a large stretch of the river, which also hosts a popular fireworks festival in the summer, the LEDs were all caught in a large net

The long-exposure photographs have really brought out the beauty and the whole thing looks so awesome!

Chrysler has announced that in honor of the brand’s return to the Chinese market, it’s bringing two design concept to the Beijing Motor Show later this month. The first is a sharp-looking 300C with an all-black exterior, a set of very large wheels and a two-toned interior with light-colored leather seating surfaces.

The other is the stunning Jeep Wrangler design concept said to be inspired by the Year of the Dragon. The car has a beautiful all-black exterior, with gold highlights all over the car. The lights have been replaced with a set of high-tech LEDs set within the Wrangler’s traditional round headlamps.

An open top, two-seater variant of the i8, its drivetrain combines a hybrid powered by a high-performance electric motor and a petrol combustion engine. Goes from 0 to 100 in 5s with a top speed of 250km/h and gets an amazing 94mpg.

The lithium-ion battery features 131hp and powers the front axle whilst a three-cylinder petrol engine sends 223hp to the rear.

Electric cars are definitely something that will help curb the excessive dependency on fossil fuels – and also save the environment from further damage. Furthermore, this concept looks stunning and I wouldn’t mind buying one as long as it does not cost “an arm and leg”.
