I liked Gina Kel’s work for quite some reasons. I loved how she mixed different elements together to form something different and unique. For example, in the “Power” series, she says:
‘In this piece the gun is a symbol of Masculine power, representing War and Murder.
She has employed the Male Technology to destroy her Male Intellect, leaving her Woman’s Elemental Body with it’s powerful, Natural, Protective symbols.’
I very much appreciate artists who create something with a vision. With an idea or a message so as to speak which they wish to portray.
