Romina Ressia takes a shot at modern portraiture and modern issues, with a classical touch to them. The model’s attire seems to represent as she was in the Victorian era, while she wears sneakers or celebrates birthdays; something that is more associated with the current age.
A little bit about the photographer herself:
Born in 1981 in Argentina, her passion for art started at an early age but it was not until 28 after graduating in Economics, did she peruse and dedicated her life to photography.
A classical influence can be identified in most of her projects but it is taken precisely to represent modern issues, how do they affect to society nowadays and how other atemporal issues are managed today. It is the way she uses to represent how people is touched by the changing world in which we live.
