A travel photographer. Not only does Thomas Barbey travel the world, he uses his open and creative mind to see the world a little differently as compared to us; and photographs different elements of the travel to combine them into one surreal piece.
We may see the tree as only a tree. He sees the tree as more of a tunnel – the cars going into the deep pitch black tunnel that is going through the tree. I am quite inspired.
