Nir Arieli began his career as a military photographer for the Israeli magazine Bamachane. This project titled “Tension” involves a series of portraits of dancers. The literal interpretation of the dancer’s body as art is appropriately captured in this series. The dancer’s bodies becomes the flow of the image. Their movement, imposed onto a single frame, extends beyond the human body. It becomes the very essence of their art.
