Currently located in Vienna, Austria, Akos Major is a Hungarian photographer. His inspiration mainly revolves around landscape, whether it is of nature or architecture. In this particular selection I picked out out of his extensive porfolio, Major showcasing his unique aesthetic in photographing bodies of water. The stillness, captured by means of long exposures, visually shouts silence for its viewers. Whether it is a photograph of sea shores, or of cityscapes, there is an incredible volume of ambience, one I find very difficult to describe in words. However, these photographs truly provides a sense of comfort and peace. Enjoy.
