Main Bearing Assembly

Main Reference Platter

The RG-1 platter assembly is a one-of-a-kind two-piece high-precision carved aluminium alloy structure that dampens the platter assembly solely through friction.

The top surface profile of the main platter has been meticulously developed to match the lower part of the original platter insert. The precise fit between the two pieces results in a linearly damped, non-resonant structure.

The underside of the main reference platter is precisely cut to ensure a perfect match with the main spindle block for accurate rotation. It also has the biggest peripheral mass, which maximises the inertia-to-weight ratio. This guarantees a consistent speed while eliminating pressure at the primary bearing contact point. Reference Motor Drive 

Featuring one of the most advanced control circuit designs, the RG-1 Reference Motor Drive allows the turntable and tonearm to work at maximum performance, resulting in the smoothest drive with the least noise and distortion. Record Player Dust Cover

The major part, which covers the top, front, and back, is a single piece of 6mm transparent cast acrylic that provides stability and rigidity, with cutouts for the motor drive and tonearm cables. The sides are made of 3mm transparent cast acrylic and have hand-grip cut-outs for easy positioning and removal of the cover.
